You’ll want to stick around for the Cat 3 raffle. There are some pretty cool prizes, including a Garmin VIRB. Cat 2s will also get a chance to win a Garmin VIRB!

Gate Fee – $5 per car – You will get a sticker for your windshield. This is good for the entire weekend – you only pay once.

Camping Fee – $20 per spot – Once again, this is for the entire weekend. So, if you camp you will end up paying $25 total (one camping spot and one car)

All the fees benefit the Abilene Police Departments.

Food at the Venue

There will be food available at the race venue on Sunday only. Steak Express will have their food truck out there from 10:00 am until 3 on Sunday. They will be selling plates which include a hamburger, chips, and sweet tea for $7. They will also sell each item separately if you only want the tea, etc. The Abilene Police Department Bike Unit will have a concession stand open as well. They will be selling sports drinks and bottled water, as well as coffee and some breakfast burritos. Cajun Cones will also be set up on Sunday to sell snow cones. We would love it if you buy food at the venue since this money directly benefits the APD Bike Unit. However, if those items aren’t your cup of tea, there are several restaurants just a couple of miles away from the trails, including Chili’s, Jason’s Deli, Cracker Barrel, Chick-Fil-A, Taco Casa, Panda Express, and Golden Chick. These places are all located on Hwy 351. A few miles further down the road on Judge Ely Blvd., you can find Schlotzky’s, McAlister’s Deli, Rosa’s Cafe, Taco Bueno, Wholly Cow, and Lytle Land and Cattle.

Bent Wheel Bash T-Shirts

There will be a limited number of Bent Wheel Bash t-shirts for sale at the registration area. They cost $15 and all proceeds from them will benefit the Abilene Police Department Bike Unit. They are a heather navy shirt with white and red ink. They will look like the event logo on the left of this website. You’ll want to go ahead and get yours when you register. They went fast last year!
